CFM sponsors Women of the Year Awards

Community Foundation for Merseyside is proud to announce its support of the Merseyside Women of the Year awards 2019, which recently opened for nominations.

The glittering 2019 event is set to take place on Friday 28 June 2019 at the Crowne Plaza in Liverpool City Centre and Community Foundation for Merseysidehas shown its support by sponsoring the Inspirational Woman Award

Rae Brooke (CEO) and Karen Morris (Development Director) attended the launch party on Wednesday 7 November alongside other sponsors, supporters and 2018 Merseyside Woman of the Year, Sue Connerty.

The annual independent awards ceremony, which celebrates the achievements of women from across Merseyside, is now seeking nominations for the 2019 event.

While category winners will be decided by a judging panel, including members of the Community Foundationteam, the prestigious accolade of Merseyside Woman of the Year 2019 will be selected from all finalists of each category via a public vote. The vote will open on Monday 20 May 2019.

“Every year we aim to celebrate the incredible women in our community that are making a difference to others and changing lives.

“We want to find them, shine a light on their achievements and help to lift them even higher.

Nominations will be open until Tuesday 7 May 2019 and judging day will take place on Wednesday 15 May 2019. You can nominate online, via email or in writing by post.
