Merseyside Women of The Year Awards
We joined the celebration at this year’s Merseyside Women of the Year Awards (MWOTY), an event that is a highlight of our annual calendar, and a firm team favourite.
The awards shine a spotlight on women who are making a meaningful difference across our region, sharing their stories of leadership and resilience, that are all too often unrecognised.
MWOTY Fundraising
MWOTY have supported the Merseyside Women’s Fund since it was launched in 2018. This year, we raised £6,490 which, as always, will go directly to women-led community groups.
With the help of partners like MWOTY our Merseyside Womens Fund has distributed £400,000 to projects that support women experiencing domestic violence, to build confidence, reduce isolation and improve mental wellbeing.
