Business Development Executive (Community Knowledge & Research)
In my current role I am primarily responsible for supporting specific policy and research work within the organisation, particularly relating to new business development and social impact reporting. In particular, I utilise community knowledge and research to help affect positive change across Lancashire and Merseyside by informing donors and local communities about key issues in their area - which helps our charitable giving be the most effective it can be. I also support colleagues with compliance reporting, governance, and HR.
I have worked with the Community Foundations since May 2012, having previously volunteered with the organisation whilst at University. I graduated from Liverpool Univeristy with a BA (hons) in Geography.
As part of my role I project manage our annual Vital Signs initiative. Vital Signs is a series of philanthropic guides aimed at understanding the needs and issues in our local communities. Launched every year in October, Vital Signs helps the Community Foundation to ensure our charitable giving is informed by local issues and making the biggest difference it can.
Outside of work, I take a keen interest in Squash, Cricket and Local Politics.
