Many families are telling us that they find the school holidays particularly difficult because they rely on the Free Meals they are able to get during term time.
Sefton CVS is coordinating a network of community venues and local organisations that will be able to offer Children and Young People between the ages of 5 to 18 free meals during the Summer Holidays.
This service is open access and is available to all regardless of income throughout the school holidays.

Individuals can also donate by phone by texting SEFT44 followed by the ammount (e.g. £5, £10, £20) to 70070.
Funds raised will help our local groups to provide food & drink supplies
Sefton CVS and Sefton 4 Good are encouraging local individuals, businesses and organisation to give what they can.

To support the initiative, Sefton CVS and the Volunteer Centre Sefton are appealing for volunteers to help our network of local organisations in providing free meals to Sefton’s schoolchildren.
Volunteers are needed to help cook and prepare meals and assist with activities at the various centres across the borough. The Volunteer Centre Sefton can also offer any training or support to volunteers as required.
