Celebrating 20 years of giving

This year, the Community Foundation for Merseyside is celebrating 20 years of giving.

Since 1999 we have been helping our donors achieve their strategic charitable giving by supporting local causes that matter to them, where there is most need and where it will have greatest impact. This year will be a year of thanks and celebration for what has been achieved so far. But more importantly it is about the future and how continue to make a difference to the lives of others.

Community Foundation for Merseyside highlights the local smaller charities and community groups often overlooked when individuals and organisations think about giving to charity.

Since 1999, the Community Foundation for Merseyside has grown from strength to strength. During 20 years of giving, we have utilised our relationships, knowledge and expertise to provide a professional and structured method of giving to both existing and potential donors.

We have distributed in excess of £40 million in grants to exceptional charities and community groups. Our priority is to build upon a growing endowment for Merseyside, currently standing at £10 million with an ambition to raise an additional £1 million year on year.

We are a unique and exceptional organisation. It is not just our commitment to building stronger communities for the people of Merseyside - it is the way in which we ensure that our donors who invest with us see that it makes a real difference.
